Overview
Organizations that have multiple products would want to understand how interested their target accounts are with each of their products. Interest Groups allow you to gauge which companies are interested in which of your product offerings. Organizations would then be able to align internal teams like sales, strategy and marketing based on this intel, and sell to their prospects better.
How to set it up
Navigate to the 'Settings' menu in your Factors project
Under the 'Account Scoring' menu item, click on the 'Interest Groups' tab
Click on 'Add new group' to set up your first interest group. You can name the interest group based on the product offering that you are configuring.
Define the actions/events that accounts must have performed in order to fall under that interest group. This could be across page views on your website, ad views from certain LinkedIn campaigns or any other events present in your Factors project.
Assign a common weight to all rules in a category like page views, or assign each rule an independent weight. You can assign weights to each rule based on the relative importance of each activity in your interest group.
Finally, click on save to save this configuration. You can set up to 5 interest groups for your project. Interest groups will take up to 24 hours to reflect in your accounts screen, as shown below.
