Updated over 9 months ago

Stay on top of critical website, social media, and ad campaign events with real-time alerts delivered to your preferred Microsoft Teams channel.

These alerts can be triggered by events like:

  • A high-value lead from a target account lands on a key conversion page (e.g., pricing, demo request).

  • A visitor stays on an important webpage for an extended period (say more than 60 seconds).

  • A form is submitted (e.g., contact, signup).

  • A visitor lands on your site via a paid search campaign.

  • Someone checks out a competitor comparison page.

  • A visitor spends over a minute reading a blog post.

  • A qualified lead revisits your pricing page.

Consider these alerts your tireless virtual assistants, keeping a watchful eye on your website and platform activity, and notifying you of key moments as they happen.

How do you integrate with Teams?

  • Log in to your Factors.ai account

  • Click the Settings icon (⚙️) in the top nav sidebar

  • Select Integrations.

  • Find Teams and click Connect Now.

  • Follow the on-screen instructions to authorize the connection.

How to set up an alert?

  • Click the "Automations" tab in the navigation bar, then select "Real-time alerts."

  • Hit the "New Alert" button.

  • First select if you want to get alerted when an account performs an activity or a person does it in the ‘When’ tab.

  • Now you need to decide what activity you want if you want to be alerted for.

  • "Do this" refers to specific actions taken by accounts or individuals that you want to be alerted about.
In other words, you will be notified every time an account or person performs a set event.

Some examples of these notifications:

  • A specific page view

  • Website session

  • LinkedIn AD view

  • G2 page visit

Let’s take an example

  • Imagine a visitor is viewing the pricing page on your website

  • Now you only want to be alerted about ICP visitor accounts—which have a much higher probability of converting

  • Go to the filters and narrow down. Say you only want to be alerted about visitors from the ‘Software and Technology” industry who have between 100-499 employees.

  • The next step is naming your alert.

    • Give your alert a clear name that reflects its trigger action. For example, "Pricing Page Visitor Alert" instantly tells you [and your team] what it is tracking.

  • Now add a message that adds context to an alert.

    • For example, for a ‘pricing page visitor alert, add the message: “An account at which is from the software and technology industry visited the pricing page."

  • And now, choose the information you want to see with each alert.

    • Pick from details like company name, domain, visited page, Hubspot status, and more. This helps you understand individual interactions in context.

  • For context you can add over 400 properties to see on the alert. Please email us at help@factors.app if you need help setting this up.

  • Now push alerts to Slack by selecting Teams in the ‘Destinations’ tab

  • Now choose what channel you want to send the alert to in Teams by picking a channel in the ‘Select channel.'

  • Now that you've set up the alert send out a test alert to see if you're happy with the alert setup.

Advanced settings

Get notified only when it matters. Eliminate alert overload.

  • Limit alerts: Use it to limit getting alerts for the same value of company domain, channel, landing page, or others for a defined period of time.

  • Hyperlinks in alerts: Add a direct link to the Factors alert settings inside every real-time alert. Quickly jump in and edit the alert if it doesn't display all the details you want to view or is shown too frequently.
