Property Mapping
Updated over a week ago

Combine ad performance metrics from different ad platforms (like LinkedIn & Google Ads) using the same "Campaign" name. This lets you easily see how all your ads are performing together.

Let's take an example.

Say you are running a company wide campaign on for an upcoming summer sale for your products.

You set up ad campaigns across Google, LinkedIn, and Facebook [Meta] for this.

Follow below steps to match their properties together.

  1. Log in to your Factors account and click on the Configuration icon in the navigation bar.

  2. Now look for 'Properties' in the drop-down and click on it.

  3. Click on the + Add New from the top right inside Property Mapping.

  4. Now in the 'add new mapping' screen -> start by adding a name. Name could be of your campaign or anything else that helps you [and your team] understand what you're mapping later.

  5. Start by selecting the property 'user latest campaign' -> this captures the current campaign UTMs they came through [just in case this user has visited your website via a different campaign before]

  6. And now map that with the campaign name across ad channels.

Bam you're done. You can now compare data across ad platforms in an apples-to-apples way.
