Custom Properties

Overview

In Factors, properties act as labels for your advertising data. These attributes let you structure your ad campaign data for optimal analysis. By assigning properties, you can easily dissect your digital advertising information and gain valuable insights to optimize your campaigns.

This is especially helpful when building Attribution Reports, allowing you to precisely evaluate your marketing efforts.

You can pick one [or more] of the three ways we help you set up custom properties.

  1. Custom dimension

  2. Default channel group

  3. Property mapping

Custom dimensions

This lets you group ad campaigns by themes to understand how your investment in these advertising campaigns is paying off. Such as grouping campaigns containing ‘search’ in their name into 'Search Campaigns'.

Default channel group

Helps you pull together different sources of web traffic into neat groups like 'paid social,' or say 'organic.'

Property Mapping

Mapping helps you to combine ad performance metrics from different ad platforms (like LinkedIn & Google Ads) using the same "Campaign" name. This lets you easily see how all your ads are performing together.
