This is a help article that instructs users to setup their LinkedIn Audience and connect it with Make.com

Updated over 10 months ago

💫 The purpose of this document is to help you set the LinkedIn Retargeting Audience for specific companies via Make.com

I have recorded a loom video taking you through all the steps required to set the Retargeting Audience

The process is broadly divided into three steps:

1. Setting up an alert in Factors.ai

  • Head over to Alerts inside Factors

  • Set up the Alert conditions

    • Select event - Can be anyone visiting the website or a specific page. (If you want to use multiple pages)

    • Add “Company Domain is Known” filter

  • Add Alert name and Description

  • Add Payload “Company Name” and “Company Domain” in this order

  • Enable Webhook option

  • Copy and paste the Webhook Address [Check next step]

  • Click on Confirm

2. Connecting Make.com to Factors

  • Add Webhook as the connector

  • Select “Custom Webhook”

  • Create Webhook and give it a name

  • Copy the Webhook URL and paste it into the alert

  • Send a test payload from Factors and you should see the “Stop” icon turn to “Successfully determined”

  • Click on OK

3. Creating LinkedIn Audience

  • Click on Add another module

  • Select LinkedIn Matched Audience >> Create an Audience

  • Click on Create a Connection and give your connection a name

  • Sign In to Authenticate LinkedIn using your credentials

  • Select relevant account

  • Select Audience type as Company

  • Type in Audience Name and Description

  • Right-click and Select “Run this Module Only” - This should create an audience inside LinkedIn

  • Confirm if Audience is created inside LinkedIn Audiences

  • Right Click the “Create Audience” module and delete it

  • Add another module. LinkedIn Matched Audience >> Add Companies

  • Click on Search >> Select Account >> OK >> Select the Audience we just created

  • Click on Add Item

  • [IMPORTANT] Map the Company name from Factors by selecting “0 Prop Value” and click OK.

We are mapping the Company Name from Factors’

It would be a Greek tragedy if wrongly mapped

  • Right Click and Select “Run this module Only”

  • Enter a Sample company and click on Ok

  • If it successfully runs - you should see this message when you click on the bubble that pops up

  • Save the Workflow

  • Select Option “Immediately as data arrives”

📋 Notes

  • The top ICP filters used are

    1. Revenue Range

    2. Employee Range

    3. Industry

    4. Country

  • Audience must be created via Make.com to add companies to it

  • We can push only Company Name into the Audience

  • The same workflow can be set up on Zapier, Tray.io, N8N, etc.
