Overview

With Factors, you can create customizable dashboards that provide a real-time view of your company's key metrics. These dashboards can display data from various domains, such as website traffic, sales, and customer engagement, all in one place. By having this information at your fingertips, you can quickly identify areas that need improvement and make data-driven decisions.


Each dashboard is a collection of reports you can build inside Factors, displayed as widgets for quick consumption.

Building your first dashboard

  1. You can find Dashboards in the left navigation bar to get started\

  2. Once inside, you can choose to create a template from scratch or use of our many templates. We recommend starting with a template, all our templates can fine tuned to your liking.

  3. Once you select a template, you’ll be able to see the types of reports you can expect to see in the dashboard. To add this template, just click on Copy this dashboard.

  4. Your new Dashboard is now ready. Note- Depending on when you completed the integration, it can take some time for data to become available inside widgets.

Navigating a dashboard

Once you have created dashboard(s) inside Factors, you can switch between different dashboards through the dropdown like so:

You can also change the date range for which you wish to see the data by changing the time period from the dropdown like so:

You can also resize and move widgets inside the Dashboard. To move a widget, just click and drag it to wherever you want. To resize a widget, use the arrow keys at the end of the widget.

Changing reports inside a dashboard

All the widgets inside a dashboard show data for a specific report that has been built using Factors’ Query Builder. You can click on any of the widgets inside a dashboard to open up the Query Builder.

On clicking expand, you can see how this report has been made using the Query builder.

You can make changes to this query by adding or removing details as per your requirement.

Once you have made the changes, click Run Analysis. If you are satisfied with the new report and want to add it to your dashboard, just click Save at the top right of the screen.

Adding new reports to the Dashboard

To add a new report to an existing dashboard, just click on + New Report at the top right.

You can choose to build a new report of a variety of types. Or, you can select from a set of Saved Reports that you have previously made.

You can do a lot with Dashboards inside Factors. From creating a Dashboard to track your weekly Ad Spends to assessing your Website Traffic, you can do it all through Dashboard templates and a powerful Query Builder.
